I recently stayed at Hotel Convento De Santa Clara for a short trip and had a wonderful experience. The staff, especially the gentleman in the restaurant and the woman at the front desk on night shifts, were incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to assist us. The room was clean and the twin beds were very comfortable. The reception staff were attentive and made check-in and check-out a breeze. The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of the town center.
I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Friendly staff. Convenient location for sightseeing in Alcazar de San Juan. Easy access to the train station if you want to take some day trips. Affordable. Very pleasant lobby and downstairs. The rooms had all that we needed, including free wifi.
The upstairs hallway and our room's bathroom were a little tired. A new carpet and a bathroom renovation would make the ambiance more pleasant. One afternoon, around 5pm, the hotel was hosting an event in its courtyard and playing some very loud music--so loud you could hear it in the room. Fortunately, the music didn't last more than a half an hour after we returned to our room, but it was frustrating to a pounding bass when you're trying to relax and take a nap.

Some of the bathroom fixtures had mineral residue, leaving a bit to be desired in terms of cleanliness.

We had a pleasant weekend stay at a charming hotel. The public rooms are lovely, and the building itself is interesting and full of character. The hotel is located within an easy walk to the town center, which was convenient. the beds were very comfortable, providing a restful night's sleep.
The breakfast was rather limited and not up to par with what we expected. , the service at the restaurant was inconsistent, with some employees friendly and attentive, while others seemed curt and unfriendly.
